LeShaundra Cordier, MPH, CHES, is a public health communications executive with 19 years of experience translating complex health information into clear, culturally responsive communications that engage communities and support better health outcomes. She currently serves as Vice President of Growth & Impact at HCN Global and previously held senior communications leadership roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her work spans health communication strategy, audience engagement, health equity, maternal health, injury prevention, and trusted-messenger initiatives. She also serves as Vice President of the Society for Health Communication and brings deep expertise in connecting evidence, communities, and action.

Dorian Johnson

Dorian Johnson, MPH, NBC-HWC, is a public health educator, health communication strategist, and founder of The PHuncle. He helps public health professionals turn complex ideas into clear, engaging messages people can understand and use. Dorian serves as a guest lecturer in health communication and has developed curricula, trainings, and digital content for various audiences. He also writes The Productive Destructive, a free newsletter helping social change agents tell better stories and tell stories better. His work has appeared in publications and on television. Across it all, Dorian blends behavioral science, storytelling, humor, and play to make public health more human and memorable.

Amanda Kwong

Amanda Kwong, MPH is the Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC) Director at the de Beaumont Foundation, where she leads the creation of practical tools for public health communicators nationwide. Previously, Amanda spent nearly six years as a Campaign Director at the Ad Council, overseeing integrated multimedia campaigns for national nonprofits and federal agencies. Her passion for effective health communication stems from a unique mix of advertising, social impact, and public health. She holds an MPH from UNC-Chapel Hill and a BA in Psychology from Syracuse University.

Stacy Robinson

Stacy Robison is a skilled communicator and content strategist committed to helping organizations craft health information that people can understand and use. She co-founded CommunicateHealth at the age of 30 and grew the company into a leading public health consultancy serving health organizations across government, life sciences, nonprofits, and consumer health. Her work focuses on using participatory design methods and plain language to create award-winning health information products and campaigns. Stacy co-developed the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Clear Communication Index and other research-based communication assessments. She is a founding member of the Society for Health Communication and serves on its Board of Directors.

Jackie Valenzuela

Jackie Valenzuela is a public health leader with more than 20 years of service to Los Angeles County. As Chief Wellness Officer and Director of the Office of Wellness and Organizational Culture within the Department of Public Health, she oversees workforce wellness and engagement, organizational development and training, quality improvement, and public health accreditation. Jackie is known for her cross-sector collaboration, leading equity-focused initiatives, emergency response efforts, and partnerships with communities, schools, and faith-based organizations. She also works to deepen the department’s “just culture,” helping teams stay grounded in shared values when things don’t go as planned. A strategic communicator, educator, and trained coach, Jackie holds an MPH from USC, has been a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, and completed a coaching program aligned with International Coaching Federation competencies.
